this year, i decided at the last minute to throw a huge get-together to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection. it was a very busy whirlwind of a day though, so the personal family touches i wanted to do, were put on hold. we had a huge feast at the river, enjoying the loveliest warm & sunny april weather with family & friends, topped with an easter egg hunt. but, because i was hosting, i literally had zero time to take any pics, aside from a few that i shall not be sharing on here, ha!
a few months later, we had this staged easter photo shoot, complete with untouched & same as always, cute little mini-market-style easter baskets i had put away until i could take proper photos. my girls didn’t complain or throw any fits about the delay either, so praise Him!!
i’m so thankful for patience, mercy & redo’s & the freedom to not be perfect & just come as i am & do what i can & let Him do what only He can, even in this post.
